Aliya is a third year Environmental Studies major born and raised in San Diego, CA. She’s passionate about using urban/environmental planning as a means to enhance community resilience and promote sustainable development. Through her work with IVCC, she hopes to engage with the beloved Isla Vista community and empower locals to learn how they can be a part of closed loop food systems.

Isla Vista Community Services District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Isla Vista Community Services District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
