Beautification Program

May contain: advertisement, poster, brochure, flyer, and paper

In partnership with the United Way of Northern Santa Barbara County and the SeeClickFix app, the IVCSD has created the IV Beautiful program.  The Beautification program serves to enhance our community by empowering our most vulnerable residents with work experience and putting the ability to report quality of life issues into the hands of the community.  This gives our residents a chance to improve our community while also working towards a better future. Residents will be able to report graffiti, vandalism, dim or absent street lighting, obstructions to the right of way and public garbage to be handled by the IV Beautiful staff.  To report an issue, follow this link or download the SeeClickFix app on your smartphone.

The See Click Fix mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone. In addition to the mobile apps, citizens can send reports at seeclickfix.com/isla-vista and the Report Issues link on the IVCSD website.

Recently, our very own Ron Moomey was featured on the UCSB Newspaper, the Daily Nexus.  Moomey is one of the pioneers of the Beautification program and he has made a positive impact on the community in only a few months.  Ron is just the first success story, and the IVCSD hopes to expand the program to employ more of the houseless community.
