Halloween 2021 Programming Grants

IVCSD is looking forward to your submissions for our first Pop Up Halloween Programming Grant. 

This grant is designed for businesses and non-profit organizations that own or operate facilities/venues in Isla Vista to host Halloween pop up events from October 29-31 2021. 

Grant requirements include submitting an application, entering into a facility use agreement with the IVCSD to make your space into a "temporary community facility," and signing a grant agreement form.

Our staff will get right back to you about your proposed event to finalize details and make a decision on funding.

Funds will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, but programs will be assessed on meeting the programming criteria below. $10,000 is available for this grant program as a whole. 

Pop-up events funded by our grant program, as well as other high impact events identified, will be featured in the District’s outreach campaign for Halloween. This will include a door hanger to every household and social media promotion.

  • Promotes a positive, safe, and healthy environment
  • Draws attendees away from concentrations of private parties
  • Family friendly
