IVCSD's Donation Pickup Service
Let us help you donate your unwanted items—without the hassle. If you have donatable items or unopened, non-perishable food but are too busy or don’t have access to transportation, our Donation Pick-Up Service makes it easy. We’ll collect your items directly from your doorstep and deliver them to local organizations or thrift stores.
We accept most gently used items in good condition, including:
- Clothing and shoes
- Books and school supplies
- Small furniture and appliances
- Home décor and kitchenware
- Unopened, non-perishable food
- Unopened toiletries (e.g. soap, shampoo, toothpaste)
- And more!

To schedule a pick-up, simply fill out the Google Form below, and we’ll coordinate a time that works for you.
Donation Guidelines:
To ensure we can safely and efficiently collect your donations, please follow these requirements:
- Items must be in good, usable condition
- Items must be able to be lifted by one person and fit within a 52" x 40" area
- Food must be unopened and non-perishable
- Toiletries must be unopened
- Items must be neatly consolidated and placed on your front porch by the scheduled pickup time
Larger Items:
Have larger items like couches, tables, or mattresses? Check out our Proper Waste Disposal Guide OR Bulky Item Guide year round! If your large item is in good condition, donate them.
Donation drop-off sites will be availabe the Isla Vista Community Center parking lot (976 Embarcadero Del Mar) and Rottapel Park from June 10th- June 17th, 2026 f rom 10am- 6pm.
Donating is easy and convenient because we have drop-off sites located Isla Vista - you don't have to drive into Goleta to donate! Additionally, we accept any item in good condition, while many thrift stores do not accept large household items in June due to a surplus of donations.
