The Sustainability Support Staff Lead at the Isla Vista Community Services District (IVCSD) combines project management and hands-on involvement in initiatives to enhance the cleanliness, sustainability, and livability of the community. Working under the direction of the Public Works and Sustainability Director and Public Works Project Manager, The Sustainability Support Staff Lead ensures Public Works programs run efficiently, fosters strong relationships with community members and stakeholders, and helps advance IVCSD’s mission to create a cleaner, greener, and more connected Isla Vista.

Sustainability Support Staff Members will assist the Public Works & Sustainability Director on a variety of tasks and projects ranging from identifying and documenting areas in Isla Vista that need beautifying, participating in hands-on beautification and waste reduction processes, constituent outreach to promote IVCSD Public Works and Sustainability programs and maintaining program organization.
