Isla Vista Parking Study

Conducting data collection, community outreach, and demonstration projects to create an Isla Vista Parking Existing Conditions Report, an Isla Vista Parking Needs Assessment Report, and a set of policy options to meet parking challenges, objectives, and needs for consideration.

Sustainable Transportation Equity Project

Developing an equity-based, Community Mobility Plan for Isla Vista by empowering Isla Vista residents to identify gaps in the mobility ecosystem, experiment with solutions, and develop a list of priority projects that will increase access to an equitable, affordable, sustainable, and safe multimodal transportation system.

Community Festivals

Lighting

As Isla Vista community members, the IVCSD understands how insufficient lighting poses safety concerns, especially to our youth population. As part of our mission, we are committed to improving the public safety of Isla Vista and are continuing to expand and improve lighting. We are currently mapping out areas that are in need of increased lighting as we receive the funding to implement them.
