Isla Vista, CA- The Isla Vista Community Services District is partnering with the Home For Good Santa Barbara County Americorps Partnership and the United Way of Northern Santa Barbara County to operate a support center for people experiencing homelessness in Isla Vista. The center will operate Wednesdays & Fridays from 12:30-2:30pm at 970 Embarcadero Del Mar. Services provided will include Wifi access, meal distribution, and information to more resources. More information can be found here

This center is in line with the IVCSD Board of Director's action taken on March 24, 2020, directing the use of the District’s facilities for pandemic emergency response. AmeriCorps normally conducts Coordinated Entry outreach office hours to people experiencing homelessness out of the IVCSD District Office, this service is a continuation of those hours.

We are actively seeking additional partnerships to expand this service.
