Do you have sneakers or athletic shoes that you no longer want? Recycle them by dropping them off at UCSB's Recreation Center or ICA!
Permanent collection locations are located in the lobby of the UCSB Recreation Center and the Intercollegiate Athletes Gym (ICA)
Shoe-Drives occur the last two weeks of every quarter (Week 10 and Finals Week). During this time, additional bins are placed in the lobby of all on-campus housing.
All shoes except for heels, wedges, water socks, and crocs/flip flops are accepted
All pairs of shoes recycled should be tied to together at the laces
There is NO need to drop the shoes off in plastic bags or boxes of any kind
If anyone has questions or wants to recycle a large amount of shoes, please contact matthewschoen@ucsb.edu

Isla Vista Community Services District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
