In an effort to make move-out easier and more sustainable for everyone in Isla Vista, the IVCSD will be giving away FREE cardboard moving boxes and shredding unwanted documents!

 

When? Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, 11am - 2pm (E-Waste Collection too!)

                  & Thursday June 4th, 2026, 10am -1 pm 

Where? In front of the IV Community Center at 976 Embarcadero Del Mar

 

We've been collecting unwanted cardboard boxes in good condition all year long and saving them for when YOU need them most during Isla Vista move-out! Boxes are first come first serve, so get them while you can! Stay a while and chat with our staff to learn more about how to move-out of IV sustainably. Paper shredding will also be available, so bring any sensitive documents that you need to dispose of.
