Isla Vista Community Network (IVCN)
Connecting voices. Strengthening community. Finding solutions together.
About the IVCN
The Isla Vista Community Network (IVCN) is a quarterly gathering of groups and individuals committed to supporting and improving life in Isla Vista. For more than 20 years, IVCN has brought together residents, local organizations, agencies, and campus partners to share resources, discuss community issues, and strengthen collaboration.
Now coordinated by the Isla Vista Community Services District (IVCSD), IVCN continues to serve as a space where connection leads to action. Each meeting centers around a key community theme and includes time for networking, learning, and open discussion. Together, we identify opportunities, share updates, and co-create solutions that make Isla Vista stronger and more connected.
How It Works
- Quarterly Meetings: Focused on timely topics like safety, sustainability, housing, and community wellness.
- Interactive Format: Each meeting begins with networking, followed by an educational segment and a collaborative discussion.
All are welcome to attend, whether you’re a resident, student, service provider, or community leader, your voice matters.
