Get ready for a MEGA yard sale all across Isla Vista! Whether you're clearing out your closet or hunting for hidden treasures, there's a way for everyone to participate! This might be the biggest yard sale yet. We've invited all of our residents to host, and they've got loads of items for you as they’re prepping for move-out this summer! By both selling and shopping, you are helping to reduce waste and keep Isla Vista litter-free this move-out season.

Want to Sell Your Stuff?

Isla Vista residents are invited to host a yard sale either:

  • In their own front yard, or
  • At a reserved spot at the Isla Vista Community Center (spaces are limited)

The Isla Vista Community Services District will promote the event through community channels. You keep 100% of the profits.

Everyone is welcome to shop - whether you live in Isla Vista or are just visiting! Browse dozens of yard sales happening throughout the neighborhood, or stop by the Community Center to see what treasures you can find. You'll be supporting local residents and helping keep Isla Vista clean and clutter-free.

How to Participate:

For Sellers:

  1. Fill out the form when it opens 
  2. Choose your sale location:
    • Your own yard
    • Or a spot at the IV Community Center (limited spaces!)
  3. We’ll add you to the Yard Sale Map

For Shoppers:

  1. Show up on Saturday, May 30 from 10 AM – 2 PM
  2. Use the Yard Sale Map to plan your route
  3. Shop secondhand and support the community!
