Isla Vista Pop-Up Halloween & Día De Los Muertos Grant

The Isla Vista Community Services District (IVCSD) is offering $4,000 in total funding to support community-driven projects that make Halloween week safer and more inclusive in Isla Vista.

We’re inviting residents, artists, and organizations to create events and art that bring people together in family-friendly spaces from October – November 1. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until October 20th. 

Funding Breakdown

$4,000 – Community Events
Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to events that meet the following criteria:

  • Open to the public
    Promotes a positive, safe, and healthy environment
  • Encourages attendance away from private party concentration
  • Family-friendly and inclusive
  • Submit photos and event attendance after the event

Events can include performances, cultural celebrations, outdoor movie nights, creative workshops, or any idea that celebrates the spirit of our local community while offering a safe alternative to typical nightlife.
