Jack Johnson, Rebelution, Steve Aoki - these are just some of the world renowned artists whose humble beginnings were in Isla Vista. Inspired by Isla Vista’s thriving band culture, the IVCSD is launching “Open Groove Nights”, every Tuesday at the Community Center!
Our goal is to provide a safe and accessible space for IV bands, DJs, performers, and all other artists to practice their craft. A space that allows for collaboration, creativity, and COMMUNITY!
This is an open event, so everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy the groove!
