Due to the high number of renters in Isla Vista, IVCSD provides neutral housing mediation for the Isla Vista community.  Our goal is to create a culture of mutual respect and understanding between all members of our community while ensuring housing security for all. To fulfill this promise, both tenants and landlords have the opportunity to resolve housing disputes/issues, safely, fairly, and economically.  Our District’s Mediator will meet and discuss the best way to find an equitable solution. This program is free & open to all residents. We resolve disputes between tenants/landlords, roommates, and neighbors.
