The IVCSD, in partnership with Associated Students, is working to create a new spring festival, Soltopia, for our community to save the live music and the creative spirit of Isla Vista. We're not trying to replace the legacy of Deltopia - but we do believe our community deserves a fun, safe community event.

What does a Soltopia wristband get you?
- FREE food all day long from our amazing festival vendors (Roger's Tacos, Yetz's Bagel, Bagel Cafe, Super Cuca's, Elubia's, Maria's Tacos, Isla Vista Food Co-op, Woodstock's Pizza, Zocalo)
- VIP access to each entertainment zone. Skip the lines for music, bevs, bites, and games.
- Identify yourself as a local. Wristbands are exclusive to IV and on-campus residents.
How to get one:
- Fill out the Wristband Sign-Up Form
- Pick up in-person from March 30th - April 3rd at the IV Community Center from 9 AM - 8 PM
- Register as an individual OR with a campus / IV organization (ex: Greek life, campus clubs, etc.)
Wristbands are free for locals! Just provide proof of residency like a screenshot of a lease, utility bill, a valid student ID, dormitory card, etc.

A note from your Coastal Commons zone lead:
"Hi, I'm Phoebe, a second year Communications and Environmental Studies student! The zone I'm creating is the Coastal Commons, and I want you to picture this: a space where you can slow down and take it all in before heading back out - thrift pop-ups, local artists, and small carnival-style moments spread throughout an open, relaxed park area. You’ll find interactive art like a “What Does Isla Vista Mean to You?” wall, a community map where students can mark places that matter to them, and a post it note wall to add favorite memories.
There are hands-on activities like planting a seed to take home, a clothing patch and repair table, and so many places for photo-ops with your friends. With a sound garden, fresh make-your-own bouquets, and indie R&B, beachy music playing in the background, the goal is simple: to create a calm, creative space that reflects the heart of Isla Vista and the people who make it home."
