Save the Music: IV's Spring Festival

What's happening with April 4th?

The IVCSD, in partnership with Associated Students, is working to create a new spring festival for our community to save the live music and the creative spirit of Isla Vista. We're not trying to replace the legacy of Deltopia - but we do believe our community deserves a fun, safe community event.

The Backstory

This January, the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors voted to approve the new Deltopia noise ordinance: a 72-hour festival ordiance prohibiting amplified music during the weekend of April 4th. The IVCSD board opposed this ordinance when it was presented and has been actively working for a path forward for our community.

Announcing our third annual Battle of the Bands & DJs!

Submissions are closed. Online voting will begin on Monday, February 23rd and will run for 24 hours.
